A girl I went to high school with passed away today. She was a few years younger than I, in fact I think she was only 19.

I never met her personally, and yet her story has touched me more than I could ever imagine. Her faith in God was an inspiration to me and (literally) hundreds of others. Her story, her family's story, has forever touched me. I know that she is in a much better place, she is free of pain and disability, and her family is comforted in the fact that she is now with God. Though they know she is ok, my heart still breaks for them.

They will never read this; they will probably never meet me. But I will go to her funeral, and I will pray for God's comfort and peace to surround them always.

Mary Moser, thank you for being such an inspiration to so many people. You will forever be missed and remembered. Your legacy is one of happiness and faith in the Lord.

God was good yesterday, He is good today, He will be good tomorrow no matter what!

1.) My aunt was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer this weekend/week. It's in her lung, throat, lymph nodes, and bone marrow. She has ~3-6 mo to live.

2.) This week has sucked royally because of that. I've cried all week.

3.) I have an anthropology paper due Thurs.

4.) And I have a Soci exam Tues... which means I only have to read 3 books in the next 3 days... yay.

5.) Spring Break starts in exactly a week. Praise the Lord!

6.) I am addicted to the Yogurt Pump (a local frozen yogurt joint just off campus)

7.) I applied for a single room and of course the bastards are too lazy to give me one. And yes, I know for a fact they still have a couple open. *grr*

8.) I HATE when girls hit on my boyfriend. Especially when they know he has a girlfriend [ME]... Bitch, back off.

9.) I totally downloaded the leaked "The Walk" album...

10.) And I totally love it. <3

And I hope you trip on one of the 15 billion uneven bricks on campus, fall, break your neck, and have to give up your single to be in the hospital. So it's been a year and a day, 

and my life could not have possibly changed any more in this past year...

1) Remember that boy? The one I wanted and couldn't have? I have him. His name is Ryan. And I am most definitely in love. (and I'm pretty sure he loves me back)
2) I was accepted at my first (and only) choice university-- UNC-Chapel Hill. It's hard as hell, but I love it.
3) I lost major weight... but unfortunately gained it back after starting college. Definitely not fun.
4) I never realized how therapeutic journal writing is until I stopped doing it. I WILL start back.
5) To all of my HansonHouse and/or Livejournal buddies--- You cannot imagine how much I've missed you!

It's so nostalgic, and somehow slightly sad, to come back... I've missed you... I hope you still remember me...

Mmmkay kids, little update: Due to people taking advantage of my open disposition, this journal will be friends-only from now on. And a word of warning to those who think they can get by this: I will not be adding any more friends to my list, unless you decide to email me and convince me otherwise. It amazes me how direly desperate some people are to make others miserable. However, I will not back down. I refuse to stop doing what I am entitled to do just because other people have no life and need something to complain about. So, to all of you who have decided to do this: Find A Hobby.

W00y w00y. I'm BBBAAAACCCCKKK. Florida Freakin' ROCKS. I am not kidding. Orlando is the coolest place EVER. I want to go back. Desperately do I want to go back. Hopefully I will sometime soon.

There are some majorly hot mofos that work at Hard Rock in Orlando. *rawr* Had one hit on me. He told me to move down there so he could see me everyday. Even said he'd hook me up with a job if I promised to move. Haha, he was pretty cute too. *thumbs up*

We left Tuesday afternoon at 1:00 pm and got there about midnight. We left at around 4:30 Friday afternoon and got back to MA at 3:30.

The sights are awesome. We had a ton of fun. Kaela, Kristen, Melissa and I had pillow fights about every night and chased each other around the room screaming at the top of our lungs at 2:00 every morning. It was awesome. Kayla was originally rooming with us, but that only lasted a day and a half. BIG, HUGE, GIGANTIC argument happened and she moved out. And to be perfectly honest, we were all (in the room) a lot happier when she left. She stayed miserable the whole time though. At least it looked like it, I don't know. Don't particularly care, I had fun and that's all that matters.

I love Travis. We got really close on this trip and I love him. Let me make it clear, I'm not in love with him, but I love him completely. He's better than a brother. Seriously. And Kaela and I got a lot closer too. I love everyone I spent time with. Because basically it was a group of about 8 that stayed with each other for the entire time. And it rocked.

Got home at 4:00 AM Saturday and had a car waiting for me in our driveway. I bawled my eyes out. I'd had my eye on the car for a while, and during my trip my parents went and bought it for me. So I had a very loverly gift waiting for me when I got home. It's so awesome. I'm now the proud owner of a '00 Neon. And it's pimped [haha] out too. I [heart] it so much.

I guess that's it for now... I have a TON of homework to do.
